Fall must be the time for the Swamp Daisy.

This is a juvenile Little Blue Heron hunting along a swamp edge.

This patch has spread out to grow over the waters edge. The swamp water is directly under the bird.

This swamp is filling with silt, which will be soil soon, and ultimately a grass land.
