Looks Of Fall

It’s that time of year where the fall colors take over the landscapes in the northern US.  While we may now be residents of the southern Lowcountry there are plenty of fall landscape images in our portfolio.

The images above were taken at Lake Marie in the Joshua Land Trust, Connecticut. The Trust is a large hidden gem that rarely has human visitors making it perfect for wide shots like these.

The land has a storied past. If you have ever read the classic ‘Last Of The Mohicans’ this land was part of their home and granted to several colonial friends of the last chiefs son.  Got to love a story like that.

This is the Connecticut River on an early fall morning. I lived very close and could easily head out to a rocky out crop and be alone for these shots. Here a Tern, in the fog,  worked the water for fish.

I love working and photographing the wildlife and Lowcountry swamps/marshes. Still, the fall woods in New England are a photographers heaven.

Thought I would share a few today.
