Note; I had already labeled the article and photograph ‘A Deep Sleep’. However, I then scrolled through the next 3-4 images shot, just seconds later. His eye was opened just a slit, he was looking.

A Deep Sleep, Alligator
I am falling in love with alligators. They look so peaceful in your pictures.
And that can be a problem. We all remind each other not to get complacent. In some places people walk in pairs, one watches, the photographs. The are still the alpha predator here.
