Even with all the places around town to walk I usually at some point find myself in, or near, the French Quarter.
Anglin Smith always makes an interesting image, the gallery offerings and of course the building.
There are still plenty of cobble stone streets. A small factoid; many of the cobble stones used were from the sailing ships in port. The stones were ballast and as the cargo was loaded, the stones were removed.
The building here with the brick red shutters has historical importance. For the life of me I can’t remember it right now LOL.
Mid-week, late fall or winter, is a great time to just wander the side streets. Fewer people to photo bomb the images.
