There is something magical about a big pink bird.
With other species we so carefully compose the images, move around for better light, quickly plan as we shoot.
With Spoonbills, photographers try to be cool but we can’t help ourselves and just start ‘clicking the button’.
ACE Basin, South Carolina.
And who can blame you? What a beautiful spread of pink wings.
It’s hard to take a bad shot of a Spoonbill LOL
I do like these big pink birds. 😊
A rock star in the bird world LOL. As I archive, since I’m staying home, my hard drives it’s amazing the number of decent photographs/series I skipped over due to volume. Many days of Spoonbills. I need to revisit again.
Ballerinas in pink! So elegant, so beautiful!
That is exactly what they are 😀😀
Amazing. You must have a lot of patience or you know the right spots Ted. These birds are amazing. Great photography. Love 💕 Joni
We go (went) out at least 4 times a week, or travel. After a while you know where to go.
That is wonderful. Well stay safe during these difficult times. Hugs J
