The Great Egret just flew from right to left, over a nice background.

In most cases this is a set of shots I grab because of all the practice we get. Hit focus early and the series should be good.


One bump here, I had the monopod attached. My keeper rate goes way down because I feel like I have a broom stick attached the camera.


My habit of keeping the monopod a little short helps a bit. I can raised the leg up off the ground enough pan with the flying bird.
