A Roseate Spoonbill claiming his prize, the highest branch. It’s a Spoonbill thing.



These were taken near the end of my day… the gear just gets heavy and I cut off the wing tip.

After all the wing movement for ‘putting on the brakes’ he did get the perfect landing.

After getting the win, he hardly stayed a minute before moving to another branch.
Of course a few more came by to grab his spot.
