Now this little Stork will certainly get your attention.

Also known as a White-bellied Stork they are from Ethiopia south to South Africa, and now Florida. An accidental transplant that may or may not be breeding in the US.

This is a young bird living in the Avian Conservation Center now, fitted with a GPS tracking device.

She has bonded with people but of course still loves to fly, and poke around visiting photographers.

It is the smallest species of stork, at 29 inches (73 cm). The species is part of a large international breeding program.
