Almost a sleepy scene.
The main subject can’t be missed, a huge White Pelican paddling along.

At the time of these shots I did not notice the Night Herons in the tall grass. The first above has a juvenile Black-crowned Night Heron.

The second, really not much distance from the first image, has an adult Black-crowned in the grass. A Common Gallinule (Moorhen) can be seen right by the Pelican.
Another of those hidden treasures we find later on.
