This was one of those reflections that actually were ‘like a mirror’.

The sun here was low and this part of the marsh was in shade. Not far from here there were large flocks feeding. As the birds left the flock several of them stopped here to fish in a less crowded area.
Ellen had walked down to photograph the big feed, I was on the back edge catching the stragglers. I think the reflections were the only reason I didn’t follow her down. It’s hard to pass up a hundred big birds feeding.
These were the first shots of reflections. Several other birds followed the Snowy down here. Small sticks and logs broke the surface here giving the birds a small something to stand on.
