It’s been there for a while. Once this was a thriving rookery but the cattails and reeds took over. Five years ago I could stay right here and shoot the Little Blues and other wading birds nesting. It’s been abandoned, the ramp will crumble soon too.
I bumped into this photographer, and this Great Blue, on the trail. A one person only spot.
