Starting To Play House, Spoonbills

I’m spoiled. Catching in flight Spoonbill photographs is easier in the Lowcountry. While we have plenty of Palm Trees there is open space too. Spoonbill love to fly through Florida palms, and so hard for a clear shot.

This Roseate Spoonbill was thankfully moving between the Palms. Gathering sticks has started.

  1. I’ll have to show Linda these shots, the Rose’ is becoming one of her favorite birds and is always pointing them out whenever she sees one in the field.

    1. We just got back this afternoon from a few days at a Spoonbill rookery. Haven’t taken the cards out yet. I know the leaves are starting to block our view but I can’t believe I didn’t get some good images. Will publish soon.
