It was not bad when I went over to the swamp. As we were walking in the fog dropped down, and stayed down. Two hours later it still had not burned off.

Top left below a Great Egret was tucked down on the nest. To them this dark means it’s still night.

Around now the nights have a chill, the days reach the 80’s. Fog is the norm.

In most places that’s for sure. Cypress trees have roots that stick up into the air, some a few feet. Every photographer has gone down at least once. The good news is one side of this swamp has an old broken but paved trail used for a tram the owners will take tourist on. Both Ellen and I got a great shot of a gator walking past me there. We haven’t done anything with them yet, their new.
