I published a view of this bird here the other day. Now I’m going through the images in detail and found another entire series.
The Heron was hunting for Crayfish and spent a lot time here. I know the Crawdaddies are here since Ibis and Egret have been feeding everyday around here.
This smaller swamp has some impressive old Cypress trees. The water is shallow enough for any wading bird to be comfortable. I’ve even seen Anhinga swimming through here.
Cypress swamp.
The swamps make such beautiful backgrounds for the birds you photograph!
The swamps are really beautiful places, some like a fairy tale. The heat, bugs, etc. are real but not overpowering. I’m still enthralled by them.
Great shots and scenery!
Thanks. Only a few angles to photo the bird with all the Moss and branches.
