The last day of January, and it felt like it too. When the wind comes in off the water even here it feels cold.

Dark clouds made for a good day to visit old cemeteries. Actually one area not so old for a nice change of photographs.

As usual most everything is B&W, Ilford 35mm film as the model.

Directly above is from the old Magnolia Cemetery, civil war era. Headstones and wrought iron getting more worn all the time. The head stone was broken in half, now leaning against the base.

All the photographs here composed to view how the depth and focus should be set on lines like these. Images like these are so much different than wildlife, there is still a learning curve with the new gear on this type of work.
