Both Great Egrets here are from the nearby old Magnolia Plantation swamp lands.
With ongoing visits to multiple rookeries, out shooting in the old cemeteries, and the critters around us I am falling way behind on photographs. I will be publishing groups of photographs the next day or so.

One has bridal feathers here, the other has lost them already. Breeding season moves by quickly.

BTW, a quick trip down the road to Florida filled a few memory cards too. The fact I can leave home after breakfast and be in various places in Georgia / Florida by lunch adds to the backlog, a lot.
