Late Day Egret

This is a nest in our local swamp that has only one vantage point, it’s located at the back of a Cypress Tree.If you are on the edge of the swamp, leaning out when there is activity the photo below can be had.

All that means is you won’t see many Great Egrets from this spot.

    1. My wife describes them as elegant, which I think is a good description. Watching them close for a while now I also know they are aggressive predators, which can be not so pretty at times in a rookery. However which bird are we all most likely to photograph…yeah the Great Egret 😁
