I didn’t see another hawk here. They have paired up and now if you see one the first thing we do is look for the mate.

The other bird could have been sitting looking right at me, it’s happened before. They melt into the woods and thankfully they are loud callers. And never seem to stop chatting

I did get ‘the look’. Fact is they see us long before we spot them.

I left before the hawk. They have much more patience that I do.
