Over the last two years the Historic Charleston Foundation has opened the old Aiken-Rhett House to local artists for a short term gallery show.
A show here is difficult because you just can’t go hanging and rearranging things in the home. It has been preserved, a snap shot in time, as a study in architecture and history. Holes in the wall are frowned upon. They do a great job and it’s always interesting (challenging) to photograph.
