Being tropical birds I don’t think of them being in, or around, cold.

And yet, here they were all puffy and hunched over in the breeze. This is another bird that doesn’t really migrate as much as ‘shift’ a little south. I think of a migration being like going from the northeast to Florida. Ibis could just take a bus, or drive with us to Florida. It’s a few hours, be there by lunch time.
Ha, they do look like they missed the bus!
For some reason they stay around here rather than a short jump to St.Augustine. Heck, I go there 😂

We had solid ice out back yesterday 🥹. This afternoon we went out to a local swamp… it was empty! Very little to see and that’s hard to happen here. Wildlife is right out your back door, but not in the cold 😆😆😆.
