Beautiful photo, Ted. The backlight, and probably a few other subtle factors, gives it a distinct retro feel, almost as if it were shot on real film. Very nicely done.
This is an angle I can’t really shoot well. My ‘fake’ just doesn’t allow it…not without paying a price 😆. I got caught up in the moment, hundreds of Ibis and hundreds of opportunities. The image was finished with some old Lightroom preset I made years ago. I ‘touched it’ by mistake…and got this LOL. Thanks.

Ok. Spamming now but I’m on a feed browse. 😝 this one has to be printed! It’s stunning!
LOL, I do that too. There are many shots of these birds on my cards right now 😆😆. White Ibis usually slip further south for a few winter months. They also breed down in Florida. However I see that’s changing. Last year was the first time I ever photographed an Ibis nest of young birds. I also stumbled on a huge Ibis rookery, that was right in front of me for a few years LOL. A Night Heron rookery, after the young fledge, is next filled with hundreds of Ibis. I never looked 😆.
