Tricolored Heron, Waters Edge

Tricolored Heron, Waters Edge

Swamps are not always beautiful, but they are interesting.

This is a good example. The Tricolor came out of the underbrush where he was well hidden. If I hadn’t been looking in that direction I would have missed him completely.

He didn’t do anything other than look around. I took these shots right before her hopped away into another thicket.

    1. Thank you. These shots were a struggle. The day was heavy clouds and real dark.

I have two long lens I use and this was my OM systems. The OM starts at f5, where the Leica is f4. Over all the OM is a better lens, but I did need light for this one. Post saved me here.
