The juveniles follow along to the rookeries. Too young to mate yet still show up. Maybe they were last years hatchlings. They do get in trouble once in a while. Having chicks is serious business, and these guys can go where they are not invited.

Thanks. I think some that day were when I got brave and mounted a shorter lens. My long lens hits 200-800, I miss those closer opportunities. And no more 2 cameras on my neck 🥹, it took surgeries to stop me but I did. That old fear of missing something lol.
