Things You Can’t Unsee

I can never get enough of these critters.

Things You Can't Unsee
Things You Can’t Unsee

A tale; The first year we moved here Ellen and I often went out shooting, and learning the ropes, with a group of  local South Carolina photographers. Me being the only man, and a Yankee at that 😝. Soon my love of alligator photography made me ‘point’ when out walking in the marshes.

It was common to hear ‘send gator bait out first…’.  And yes the name stuck. More than once we have been around town and been greeted with ‘Hey, Gator Bait’.  People do look around to see who it is they are calling to. 🤣🤣🤣.

    1. I also had a 74 Pinto and a Cadillac Coupe DeVille both equipped with CB’s as well as the rigs 🙂 boy was life different back then. The Caddy’s now start at $20 and go up and over the $30,000 mark.

    2. I loved that car. My brother was home on leave during the IRAN bs 48 years years ago. He took his 2 year old that I was raising while he was gone, for new shoes and some father son time and someone hit my driver’s side headlight and fender. They were fine but not too many in junkyards so I sold it to a friend lol one of the 5 worst decisions in life I made I loved that overhead cam and its spunk.

    3. 😄😄. I actually had an AMC Pacer 😵‍💫. They were so bad that I hit a raised manhole cover, midtown Manhattan rush hour (no speeding) and ripped out the bottom. Left it there, grabbed a cab, and went to work 🤣🤣.
