Their colors just go crazy during mating season. I have been very lucky photographing them so far this year. I was a little concerned since our local flocks disappeared into the marshes, or moved a few hours south to breed. But I have been finding them.

Thank you. Me too LOL. Recently we have been getting the best opportunities. This was a one in a million chance. And thankfully I caught this and many others that morning. Truthfully, probably never get another like this. 😄
