I moved external drives around today, it’s much too hot outside so time for inside chores. I have a much smaller catalogue of photos on my drives now.
I went through folders checking everything worked and decided to find some early spring landscape images never published. Landscapes are usually good candidates for DxO Filmpack.
Below is a photograph finished with an old Kodak 35mm film stock. A Great Egret flying low over a rookery.
Best viewed large.

An interesting composition, the editing choice suits it very well!
Thank you 😄😄. The composition was what was offered LOL. Shot as wide as I could. The editing is DxO Filmpack based. I love that software. The system is all presets based on old film or old famous photography studios. The old studios are what I like best. It can run as an Adobe plugin or a standalone program.
The software is a good starting point, I saved some as custom presets in Filmpack, there are basic editing tools included. I’m sure you get the point that sooner or later you need some change in your work. I started carrying a camera in Vietnam… 🤣
Interesting, thanks. I was in Hanoi for work 15 years ago before I had picked up a camera 😏. We’ve got to go back!
As much as I would like to see it, our current government has most thoughtful people here laying low. My step-grandmother was a Newfie, but that doesn’t work for a dual passport LOL. 😝
😣. Newfoundland is a wonderful province, I know changes have been made to the Citizenship Act but I don’t believe they extend to ” step” grandparents,
Ellen’s farther was born in Canada, but that didn’t count for her either. Many parts of coastal Maine used Canadian hospitals in the 1920’s because they were close, and borders didn’t matter. Except for birth rights. Very forward thinking of y’all. 😂😂.
Very neighbourly, eh 😊
I would call it proper planning.

Looks great in this photo, and it really does have that classic film look from the old days.
It is a nice software and easy to integrate with others.
