Some random shots here taken along the waters edge at Cypress Wetlands, South Carolina.
There’s a large assortment of wading birds nesting in the nearby rookeries. If you walk the length of the large pond you pass by little groups of nests, different species, that depend on the type of swamp/woods line behind the water.
These images were started looking into the small bird areas and finally ending with the large wading birds. Turning around in the opposite direction at any time you are staring into thousands of nesting big wading birds.
