The golden Fall colors haven’t arrived yet, but the tall grass and reeds have lost much of their shades of green.

I would call this a halfway shot. I couldn’t decide whether to shoot full wide for a true landscape or zoom up close on the Great Egret.

He made the decision for me and started to fly off. So I ultimately got a wide shot of the bird in flight.😆
