In the first shot below there are at least 5 mid sized Alligators working this stretch of marsh.

It was very shallow in some places so they were splashing and digging to scare up anything around themselves. A jumping 300-400 pound Alligator creates a bit of noise, and substantial wave.

I had never been to this area before and was surprised to see so many mid sized critters working such a narrow open water spot. Alligators are solitary feeders, but here it was like they were bumping into each other.
