Very nice — a thoughtful day for this big bird
Not sure why, but I always enjoy looking at their leg positions – like a stick dance ha.
Actually, considering the size of their bodies, they have remarkably long, thin legs. It’s a wonder these birds can stand so steadily on them through all kinds of weather.
Incredibly strong, all these big wading birds. Just as interesting is most of their bones are hollow 😳.
