I knew this Great Egret was about to jump in the air, but was a little too slow for the lift off.
However, since she stayed between me and line of thicker swamp there were no branches/reeds to get in the way.
I have tried to publish as few photos as possible in this series.

Thanks. There was plenty of activity around the local swamp and marshes right before the weather turned…into the arctic. A friend went out this morning but everything is ice so he went back home. Another few days we should be out. The rest was probably good for the old body 🤣🤣
