I’ve always liked photographing white birds in this marsh grass. It can make a nice background to the bird. Unfortunately it rarely comes out the way I envision it.
These shot may be the exception. The grass was nice variations of green blending together. Almost giving the background a look of brush strokes.

The group was active giving us plenty of different opportunities.

OM-1 mk2, Olympus 12-200, Leica 100-400.
All four are gorgeous – but the last two, and especially the second-to-last, would make a stunning painting. There’s something really special about that tall grass, the clearly visible eyes, and that red beak – absolutely beautiful!
Thank you very much. The grass and white birds are a perfect mix 😁.

Fantastic moments and beautifully photographed. These ibises are so wonderful.
Thanks so much. They actually came out clear
That’s took some manual tweaking of the focus for sure.
Shocking but none at all. My long lens is a Leica, EFOV 200-800. Before I switched did a lot of research, knew others who had changed, shot around where I do, etc. (6 months neck braces, on the couch, plenty of research time). Nothing is ever perfect, but I get photos I never did with Canon.
These are exceptionally nice, and nice of those Ibis to provide a subject for the green. Even if it was just a minute.
Thanks 🥰.
