Caught this Great Egret going low over a thick marsh. There is some open water below, you can just barely make out a wooden pylon down in a cut.

I liked this shot because it shows how thick and tall the marsh grasses can  be. That’s about a 3 foot bird and yet looks so small next to the reeds.
