Old School Bling, Charleston Government

The city council meeting room for Charleston, South Carolina.

You could almost expect the members to walk in with powered wigs and waist coats. And yes, that painting of George Washington is an original.

BTW, some of the light bulbs are original Thomas Edison Co. bulbs. I mean really, who uses the original inventors first light bulbs 😳.

Found On A Walk, In An Old Cemetery

I felt the need for something different, so a little southern Gothic – Victorian look seemed right. 😆

Sitting Here In Case I Should Cross Over – Alligator

It’s a small canal like strip of water. There are plenty of birds, but none anywhere near him.

Maybe this is what an alligator quiet place looks like.

Good looking fella by gator standards.

Small Green Guy, Tree Frog

It’s the colors with these small frogs. Look at that vivid green.

Best viewed large.

Working on close subjects, without a long lens. I’m seeing more options and angles with a mid-sized lens. It’s easier to go wide, or tight without standing on your head or breaking your back.

Anhinga – Resting, Drying

The Lowcountry has been terribly dry, almost no rain. Now the southern heat has arrived. Fun is.

The weather is exactly what Anhinga love, and I’m thinking the Duck Weed does too.

That solid green throughout the photograph is water. Covered in Duck Weed, but still water. It looks solid enough to walk on doesn’t it.

Duck Weed is one of the smallest flowering plants in the world. It floats along the surface  of still water and multiplies very fast.
