Taking short cuts through the alley’s of Charleston almost always provides interesting photo ops.

Many of them serve as the main entrance to local homes, all have a big dose of history…and charm.

I have walked through here many times yet my photographs are rarely the same.

It’s a great town. I try to take walks around the old French Quarter as much as possible.

Thanks. It is exactly what you would expect of a southern plantation city. I hope the lure of tourist visits does not spoil the beauty. A very hard thing to balance.
