Taking short cuts through the alley’s of Charleston almost always provides interesting photo ops.
Many of them serve as the main entrance to local homes, all have a big dose of history…and charm.
I have walked through here many times yet my photographs are rarely the same.
I love walking around town this time of year.

I love Charleston
It’s a great town. I try to take walks around the old French Quarter as much as possible.
These are very beautiful, Ted, and quite charming. I can udnerstand why you like walking there. Captured beautifully, too.
Thanks. It is exactly what you would expect of a southern plantation city. I hope the lure of tourist visits does not spoil the beauty. A very hard thing to balance.
