Overhead shots should almost always be avoided. But, memory cards hold a lot so I grab a few at times. These are not the same as a usual in flight image. They are at an angle or from the side.

Above a lone Wood Stork came over getting ready to join a feeding flock. It was a gray day otherwise the sky would have blown out the image.

The Spoonbill here was borderline. The flight was at an angle, and from the side, but the position was close to over head.

Last was the Bald Eagle. Rule # 1 is always take a Bald Eagle. When the shot works they can be great. Here, it was border line at best.
All these image were taken at approximately the same location and time. The only thing that saved them was poor light. It can be your friend once in a while.
Terrific views!!
Thanks, this was all about location 😀😀
