Snowy, Another Bird Hiding In Reeds

While out in the far end of a wildlife area the reeds were high and thick, hiding everything. Tricolored were visible, probably because there were so many I had to find a few.

Alligators? Could not see a single one. Heard a few which can be unsettling.

The trail has a few open spots for rangers to push off in small flat bottom boats, and that’s where I found this Snowy Egret.

While I certainly have photographed a Snowy or two these were nice since there is a simple background, nothing cluttering the view of his flight.

Over the years we all get our own style, favorite ways to shoot. If you visit the articles here you know mine is ‘in-flight’ images. I’m sure I have enough here to bore most anyone, still I keep chasing and shooting them as they fly by.
