Search this web site for Wild Boar and I think you will find a few articles. We bump into herds maybe 3-4 times a year. Hard to photo because you need to be very careful, not friendly animals LOL. Most Boar here are descendants of pigs (this is weird) let lose during the old pirate/sailing ship days or Russian Boar, again let loose on the coast for hunting food. Centuries later we have Wild Boar running through the swamps. But what the heck, the Alligator like them LOL. And we have millions of Alliagtors 😂😂

I know the boars can cause a lot of forest destruction. I’m glad the alligators enjoy them!

I’ve seen whole fields on state land dug up. Very destructive. Still, they are wildlife so there is a place for them out here.
I love visiting marshes for the variety of plants and birds. Great pictures.
