An interesting swamp scene, best viewed large since there is a lot going on.

The main subject was a Great Egret chasing another from a nesting tree. I was shooting wide capturing the Egrets and the surrounding environment.

Top of the tree is a Great Blue Heron nest, and strangely it is occupied by three herons. A pair of nesting Blues never have another adult  this close. But there it is.

Further down the same tree is another Great Blue nest with an adult standing guard.

This is one tree, there are multiple nearby, some with twice as many nests. I thought the photograph was an interesting moment in time that most people do t get to see.
