By my estimate the man never was home after the US Revolution ended. Every city has an old home that claims this.

Charleston was one of the first US cities so it must be true…and I read it on the internet.
Haywood House, Charleston, South Carolina.
Ha ha you are so right. How funny. I hope you are enjoying Charleston. Such a beautiful and fun city. I can’t wait to see your photos of the great Boone Hall Plantation’s breathtaking views of the great oaks with Spanish moss. Also I truly hope you take photographs of the Angel Oak that is estimated to be 400 years old and stands 65 feet tall. Can’t wait to see how you capture some of this magnificent entities. Love 💕 Joni
It is indeed a beautiful area. So far I have missed both places due to crowds of people. Maybe this winter when it gets cold I’ll try again.
Oh no I was excited to see how you would photograph these unbelievable trees. Well I will be following so hopefully I will catch your photos next winter. If the good Lord is willing and the creek don’t rise, to use a phrase my mom use to say. Love 💕 Joni
