Last a Great Egret fishing on the edge of large reeds and cane. The typical gold / brown winter colors all around.

This is the quiet season for Great Egrets in the Lowcountry. They are here year round but stay off to themselves for another few months. After that, chaos. There is nothing subtle about Egrets in mating season.
