Wading Birds Arriving In A Marsh

Wading Birds Arriving In A Marsh

When a flock exits, or arrives, as a large group there’s a chance for some very interesting photographs. You have no control over all that much in the image so the best I can do is focus and push the button.

We have;

  • Roseate Spoonbill
  • Tricolored Heron
  • Snowy Egret
  • Wood Stork
  • Laughing Gull (?)

I was in a place where I could capture both the fast exit, something spooked them, and a landing on the other side of the shallows.

ACE Basin, South Carolina.
