The other day I wrote about craziness being around the corner (click here), little did I know.

First a ’53 Chevy’ floating in the air then down the road rest stop for Flying Saucers.
Same day, maybe even same town. Something in the water?

I think a storm or two may have done some damage, or maybe a crash landing. This was ‘semi’ famous once I have since read.

The saucer had begun to be built in 1994 and became a local tourist attraction, with a $1 entry fee. The center was the subject of a 2001 segment in The Daily Show, in which Stephen Colbert (a Charleston native) presented a caricatured tour of the attraction. In 2003 Jody Pendarvis added a smaller saucer, about 20 feet in width, to the top of the original structure and began living in the saucer during the summers when the saucer is cooler than his nearby mobile home. In lieu of an admission fee, there is a painted blue wooden container that says “Tips” near the entrance.

Below is the ‘warp engine’ design from the star ship Enterprise.

Some days the ‘stuff’ just keeps coming at you.

And so, this article is another ‘you can’t make this stuff up’.
I think you and Ellen accidentally wandered into the Twilight Zone, Ted. Wrong turn at the flying Chevy. 🤣
😂😂😂, great way to describe it. Made me laugh.
